Welcome! Riley Children's Health and Andrew Luck, Quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, are excited to bring Change the Play to your classroom and classrooms all over Indiana. Offering 8 fun weeks of simple and important challenges, we're encouraging kids to make better choices about food and exercise. And we need your continued support and leadership!
In addition to having access to all these helpful health resources, this spring, we’re running a special contest to win a school visit from Indianapolis Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck!
To be eligible, make sure you have completed the following steps:
Explore the resources that we provide below, and then make sure your students are part of all the action by signing up!
Get started by creating an account. Once you sign your class(es) up, you’ll receive your first weekly email on Sunday. You’ll receive a new email every Sunday for 8 weeks.
We’ve provided 8 weeks of fun – each with a different health topic, but you can continue using the resources well into the school year.
Teachers tell us that Change the Play offers their students a fun, exciting, hands-on way to teach their students about fitness and nutrition. They’ve found value in the curriculum – given the Riley Children’s Health expertise and insight – and have shared that having a role model in Andrew Luck has encouraged their students.
All you need is a computer, printer and Internet connection. We’ll do the rest by offering you helpful videos and printable resources that guide you through all 8 weeks. Check them out below.
Here are just some of the helpful videos and printable resources to guide you through week 1. The same kinds of tools will be available to you for all 8 weeks as we’ll be emailing you links every step of the way.
Take a look at the week 1 playbook. This printout is a helpful guide for teachers that breaks down the themes, tasks and importance of each week. You’ll get one for every week.SEE THE PLAYBOOK
Each week, your class will get some words of encouragement from Andrew Luck in his weekly Pep Talk. See what Andrew has to say about week 1 and get a feel for what he'll say in the weeks to come.
