A classic ball game that you can play on your own or with a group. Even better, it can be played outdoors or indoors with a homemade hoop.
Keep the Ball
Whether you want to use your hands or feet, the object of this team game is to keep the ball away from the other team. Set a certain amount of time on a timer, split into teams, and start the game. Keep the ball away from the other team as best you can and don’t hold the ball for more than 5 seconds. The team with that has control of the ball as the timer goes off, wins.
This ball game is played by four people, on a square court divided into 4 quadrants. The goal is to bounce or tap the ball in other people’s quadrants without missing or hitting outside the lines. If you miss the ball or hit it outside the lines, that player who missed it is out. You play until one player remains. This is a great ball game that can be played almost anywhere as long as you have a ball and some chalk to draw the lines on the court.
This ball game requires a tennis ball and an open yard. Get a group of family and friends together and play this great ball game. One person is designated the “thrower” and the rest of the group are “catchers”. The “thrower” yells to the group a number of points ranging from 1-500, and then throws the ball up in the air. The person that catches the ball on the fly gets the amount of points the “thrower” called out. You play up to 500 and the person who gets to 500 becomes the “thrower.”
Think regular tag, but instead of using your hands, you use a ball to tag people. In fact, the only thing that could make a game of tag better is incorporating a ball into it. We recommend using a ball that is soft so that when you tag people, it doesn’t hurt them.
